My garage door spring broke 12/3/25, called the licensed/bonded Speedy Garage Door on the website with pictures of workers and a nice company van quoting $60-180. Someone came out at night with unmarked truck and no uniform quoting $400-$600 and $400 if cash and the lowest option. Under pressure and ignorance, I acquiesced to it but he left no receipt saying the company will send it to me to my email. I called several times a day 206-203-1930. They kept saying a manager will call back, but no one ever did. He replaced the spring and it seemed fine but realize the torsion is not right as the door does stay open when I manually open. In retrospect, I feel like this is not a licensed/bonded company but a messaging center posing as a reputable company with stock photos misrepresenting what they are. I don't even think the technician that came out is even licensed as he was in the state only for two years. No paper work left, and I am still trying to get someone out to re-torsion the spring and possibly get my money back. Another indicator that this is a phantom company is that when I asked the operators who claims to be with the company about its address, they were evasive and they all had accent. So no physical address. [BBB Scam Type: Retail Business Business name Speedy Garage Door] [Business: Speedy Garage Door] [Location: WA, USA - 98001]
