Robinhood scam? Received this text— Robinhood: Verification code 048584 is required to complete your pending withdrawal request. If you did not request this transaction, please call +1 (207)902-7080 immediately. I did some digging & couldn’t find anything on the number, so I did even up calling from a different phone number… Honestly at first it sounds LEGIT! The robinhood announcement thing plays & gets you to ‘customer service’. He immediately asked why I was calling, then asked my name.. I didn’t tell him my name & just said I do not have a Robinhood account, but received a text message to call in. He then told me someone possibly stole my identity & asked if I had any other crypto accounts & asked my name again. I told him no, I did not. He then said to ignore the text & hung up…. The thing is I do actually have a Robinhood account, I don’t even think I’ve used it though! I was curious if this has happened to anyone else? Please BEWARE!!!
