I received a text from 213-325-6322 for garage work, and requested they send a service technician. Someone with "A Garage Door And Gate" showed up, outright lying about what my proper options were, saying I can only replace a garage door motor for between $4-$5k, needing to always replace the springs along with the opener. They then installed parts in my motor without quoting me when I was just asking for a two remote controls to be replaced. A service that would have cost me $500-$600 anywhere else, was then billed to me at $1,887. The final price settled was $1,587, which he insisted on or else he wouldn't leave. I'm not able to find the website of the company, and the original company that reached out and set up the appointment is not providing any assistance. I've attached the invoice for further information. This was a scam plain and simple. The technician mentioned being from Morocco and his name tag said Ben. He drove a white pick up truck.
