I came across an advert on Facebook for solar energy in Nigeria. Because I was planning a trip with my family and I wanted to ensure we had a good power supply, I reached out to them on the advertised WhatsApp No. +2349045729659. a “guy” picked up and told me more about their product and that I don't have to pay in full but once I make the initial deposit installation arrangements will commence and later that day sent a price list. We later talked again and agreed on 4 million naira initial deposit. I was asked to send my name and address to them to start the process and I sent it. At the time their name on Facebook was Easy Solar Energy. Unfortunately, for me on the 27th of November, 2025 I transferred the agreed 4 million Naira which is approximately 3000 dollars. When I didn't hear from them as agreed I started calling them and couldn't get through to them. They had blocked my number. Every attempt to reach them fails. They have blocked all my Facebook account from seeing them. Funny enough, these people are still operating on Facebook changing names but the same phone number. After I was scammed they changed from Easy Solar to Modern Solar. This experience messed up our whole Christmas and more.
