Alex Black called me a total of 4 times on 2/2/26 from 314-200-1836. On the first call she claimed she was calling on behalf of the state and I may be listed as a defendant in a claim against me. She read to me my full social security number and name and said they had been trying to serve me at an old address. She said she could not give me more information over the phone because our call was being recorded and the recording could possibly be used in a court hearing. She instructed me to contact Great Eastern law firm to get more information and resolve or else my wages would be in jeopardy of being garnished. Alex provided a phone number 844.425.1475 case # 200537-E -(last 4 of my ssn). Great Eastern would not tell me who they represented, what court the claim was filed with unless I verified my name, address and last 4 of my ssn which I did not. I attempted to look up the case in Missouri Case Net, I called the Circuit court and the St. Louis County Sherrif's office to no avail. I recently filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which was discharged in December 2025. I contacted my bankruptcy attorney and they were not able to verify any outstanding debts. I also received a call from my ex-husband's aunt stating that Alex Black had called her looking for me to serve me. The last call I received from Alex she left a voicemail using my previous married surname stating she has verified an address for me and is leaving her office to come serve me and that I've had time to call Great Eastern to resolve this and there are charges against me. I have until she reaches me personally to address this with mediation (Great Eastern) [BBB Scam Type: Debt Collections] [Business: Great Eastern] [Location: MO, USA- 63033]
