Scammers posed as towing company. Asked for card information over the phone to pay for towing services. Received confirmation texts that stated for a “winch out” service. A completely different towing company showed up, provided the service and said that no payment was ever received from the initial towing company. The legitimate company provided an email which showed the scammer company saying the customer will pay in full by themselves.
