1 (347) 926-7073 Cash Advance America - Don't Fall For It Background: I work for a Large National Bank in a preventative aspect. Occasionally I troll around random websites to see if I can find phone numbers to use for data mining. Recently I came across a certain website that offered no fee wire[s] (payday loan lender network) by way of the emails they were spamming me with. So out of boredom I went over to my go to temp email provider that shares something in common with Oscar the Grouch and signed up with an address I made specifically for this excursion. The last week I have been getting phone calls from 347-926-7073 from a gentleman named "Mark Peterson" who was calling me to inform me that I had been approved for a $7,000.00 loan. Initially I was like this is a joke and I'm not going to be bothered but he was persistent. So I called him up to find out what was up with this loan. First off I know now for a fact the lender network I signed up with sold my information to a con artist because the email address he told me they had on file for me was the temporary trash one I created just for registering on that site. The scam was the same as usual, we've approved you for a loan for X Dollars and in order to fund this because you have a low credit score we need you to show that you are financially responsible and can pay for it. **Note that instead of saying you need to pay up front that they are only asking you to "show" that you will be able to pay them monthly. The end result is that you will lose money if you do anything to show them you have the money to pay. The way you "show" that you can make the monthly payments is buy purchasing a reload card for a prepaid credit card and sending it to them. For the average person who is desperate to get an actual loan this is the worst possible phone call to be on. 1. They talk circles around you in order to overload the logical part of your thought processes. 2. They prey off the fact you need this money and will
