Saw a vehicle for sale, after sever attempts to contact Thatcher Auto Center in Newton Iowa, a woman answered the phone, and after i asked about the prior owner and how they got the vehicle, she hung up. would not answer phone again. The next day, the website was down. I did a google search for the vin number of the vehicle, and it showed as being for sale with Gad Auto Sales in Omaha, NE. Gad website, www.gadautosales.com, was exact as thatcher with a Gad logo in the upper left, rather than Thatcher. I called Gad, no answer, but the same beep as thatcher before hanging up. Woman called me back from phone number 1-402-285-1865. I and asked about a vehicle for sale and if they just bought Thatcher and she hung up on me. I have never know a car salesperson not wanting to talk. Looking at other vehicles they have for sale, several of these vehicles info and pictures are the same as what was sold on Bring-a-trailer site in 2025. Vehicle sold a year ago for over $20,000 and now Thatcher/Gad is selling for less than $9,000. The Gad address in Omaha (3206 Leavenworth St, Omaha, NE 68105) also shows as other business names: Dino Auto Sales, and Melody Motors.
