I was called by the first number (408)384-4393, and a woman named Cassandra Dennis said she was calling because she was sent documentation to serve me. She wouldn't say why or what I was being served, but gave me a number to call for further information. She gave me a phone number (855)803-4930 to a business she said is called McMann & Associates. I called the number for more info, and a guy named Mr. Sanders answered. He confirmed my name and even the last 4 digits of my social security number! I was almost convinced, and that is so scary. He told me I was being summoned to court because of a payday loan I hadn't paid back. He said the company for the payday loan is called Bridge Lending??? That there was a co-signer named Sean Lamar Johnson??? I told him that it has never happened and I don't know who Sean Lamar Johnson is. He told me they are suing for over $1,000, but what he can do is help me settle for $500. I began googling as we are on the phone, and could not find the company name, and the phone number did not pull anything. I knew this was a scam. I asked for the website. He got frustrated and said if I didn't want to settle with him, then I would just be served. He hung up. I called the (408)384-4393 number back to speak to the woman who initially called, and the guy answered! That was confirmation that this was a scam. He said to stop calling and harassing them. Insane. Please! Please! Please be aware of this scam and do not fall for it. I truly hope this helps.
