We needed to change our previously purchased United Airlines tickets. My wife did a google search for United Airlines Customer Service to find the number. She was talking to him (i think he said his name was Norman), and represented himself as a United Airlines agent. We made the change with him for the departure of 1 day later. Fortunately, we called United Airlines that following day, and there was no change. The $253,98 charge was pending on my USAA Credit Card; I immediately disputed the charge as fraudulent; thus, fortunately, we are not out any money. 3-4 days after, this same "Rep" called me and asked if we still wanted to make the change. I advised him I believe he is a scammer and fraudulent as he said he made the change 4 days earlier. When he called us back, it was from phone # 415-287-7289, and I asked what company he is with, and he said Travel Compare. The fraudulent charge showed up as Hydra Travels, and we called an 800 number the first day, and again, my wife found that # by doing a google search for United Airlines Customer Service.
