Hello, I was looking to adopt a puppy on Facebook. I was communicating with Lily MacFarlan who requested a $200 deposit and tried to go through Zelle, Apple Cash but would not work. She asked me to purchase a Amazon gift card instead to get started on the transfer of ownership of the puppy. Daisy/shih tzu puppy was supposed to be delivered to me on 4/9/26 but it did not happened. I was contacted by the shipping company asking for $500 or $700 for crates rental which I was told that it would be 100% refundable. I did not agree because the puppy agency did not say I was going to have to pay for shipping until the day of. Lily tried to come up with solution which she states she could deliver the puppy herself for an additional $100 to cover the cost of the flight. I ended up sending her an additional $300 ($100 for flight and $200 for the remaining balance of the puppy that cost $400). I ended up purchasing another gift card for $300 to cover the travel and remaining balance of Daisy and it was sent directly to [email protected] , the recipient. She got to the airport and was informed that the she encountered an issue during checkin the airline advised that the current carrier does not meet the required specifications. She said it would be an easy fix and will have resolution, that was around 11:33 am, At 2:52 I reached out to ask if she was going to still make it for the delivery. The response from 6:27 pm was "she was having some difficulties in getting the crate. At 11:53 pm, she reached out and states that she had another option for me and we are to discuss that in the morning.
