I was left two rude voicemails demanding a return phone call, if not, they were going to report me to my job and expedite to a judicial system. I was told by a female whom didn’t give her name at first, that, they had sent me a letter 48 days ago. I informed them that I had not received a letter, that I had not received a credit card nor lived in CA, in over 15 years. I was told in order to re-establish the payment plan, I would have to pay $455 today, after they spoke to their department supervisor . I then asked if they could fax the letter they mailed, they told me that due to their protocol they are not a liberty to do that. I then asked to dispute it, I was told that she would have to speak to her supervisor, in order to get approval to dispute, had a waiting period would had to show up to court, in person. I then asked what city and state would court be held, I was told they did not know until after the dispute process. I was then told, if I did not show up to court, I’d have to pay court cost, legal fees, and other fees totaling close to $10,000 total, if I did not show up to court and/or loss the dispute. After, I asked those questions, the phone call went silent for about a minute, I said hello twice to no response. I hung up. Then I received a personal call from a personal phone, Monica, telephone number (510) 214-8211. She left a voicemail stating we had been disconnected and wanting to settle this issue, by making a payment of $455, to then be placed on a monthly payment plan. I did not answer, checked my credit wise credit reporting app, and discovered no derogatory issues on my credit report dating back to 2009. Now, I was told by the lady, whom did not identify herself that my credit report should be showing a derogatory charge/issue on my credit report; however, I may not because it is up to their discretion to report the derogatory issue.
