I was contacted twice via text message and both of my parents have been called by an Atlas legal group. I called the texted number (877-427-1093) and gave him the case number that I received via text 2025-309598. The man identified himself as Eric Ruiz ext 1081 and he said that their office is out of California. He said that I'm being sued for a payday loan from 2018. If it was true the original amount was less than $250. The amounts that he says I'm being sued for range from $1,130 to $1,900. When I looked up the name Atlas legal group comes up as a scam. Original message: My Name, Case 2025-309598 Documents submitted regarding No-Contest Clause. Employer verification is currently underway 877-427-1093 I want others to be Warned! I spoke to someone twice. The first time I called the number back that called my father (512-813-9223) and the man was rude, used harassing language, and claimed that I wasn't me.
