I received a text (attached) about a remote job for Coralogix. I was immediately skeptical and looked up the company. They seemed real, so I proceeded with caution. The recruiter directed me to an app called Telegram to message an "onboarding manager" to complete training. The purpose of the job seemed to be to take screenshots of certain parts of apps for some kind of quality assurance. The test task was to take a screenshot of Facebook on the App store, and send it to the manager, which I did. I was told I would get $15 for completing the task. After I sent the screenshot, I was asked to provide my name, age, occupation, and location so that they could proceed with sending along the payment. When I told my age the "manager" responded, "...our recruitment criteria require partners to be 27 years of age or older". I immediately responded that I wanted my $15 that was promised to me, and I received no answer. That was yesterday. Today, I received a text message from the "recruiter" asking if I had completed my training and received payment. I said no, that I apparently had to be 27, and that I would most likely be reporting them to the BBB as a scam. I'm really more concerned with the scamminess of the whole thing more than the $15. I have multiple screenshots but only have the option to upload one. The "recruiter" phone number is 571-220-2884. After I told the recruiter I wanted my payment, I received no answer from them, either. I would love to share all of my screenshots! Could I please get some response when an action is taken on this? I would like to stay up to date. [BBB Scam Type: Employment] [Business: Coralogix] [Location: MS, USA - 38851]
