I am writing because I recently discovered that I was the victim of a scam while attempting to have my trademark application processed. I was unaware of the fraud until now, which is why this email is coming at this time. Earlier today, I filed a complaint with my bank (Bank of America) regarding the $2,025 I paid. I have attached the email communications and documents that were sent to me by an individual posing as a USPTO Examining Attorney, identifying himself as Mr. Nicolas Belcastro. The contact information he provided was: Mobile: 571-506-7661 Work: 571-335-1240 Email: [email protected] Any guidance or next steps you can provide to help resolve this matter would be greatly appreciated. My application now shows as abandoned, presumably because the fraudulent party never completed the required work. @media (min-width:768px){.css-1w6dufj{-webkit-box-flex:0;-webkit-flex- [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: USPTO] [Location: PA, USA - 15370]
