A check was sent in the mail to my sister in the amount of $2,950.00. There were long drawn-out instructions, with some questionable wording in the letter. The letter was offering a job opportunity for evaluating Wal-Mart stores in our area. They were also wanting her to buy gift cards with this check they sent and report on the transactions. The exact wording in this mail is " Your report should capture actual timing of purchases and along with card details for analysis and completion. Upon completing the assignment with evaluation report and photos emailed in, you are required to hold on to the cards because the purchases will be used in comparison with the second assignment which will be immediately mailed out to you with our bonus if you qualify". In a different paragraph it reads, "Once your survey assignment is completed, send a text to (740) 710-3007 and also contact the audit department on this mail ( [email protected] ) confirming your assignment has been completed. Specify the exact amount spent at the store.
