Russian Scammers pretending to be IRS Hello all, I just found this community and I'd like to share with you all what my morning has been like. At around 10:30 CST I received a robotic call from 18002211678 saying that they were the IRS and that I needed to call them back at that same number in order to settle this issue with the treasury department (everyone should know that the IRS and the treasury department aren't connected) so I called them well aware that it was a scam. I harassed them repeatedly until eventually one of them admitted they were Russian scammers and that he wished he could get a real job. I then download an automatic redailing app and set it to repeatedly call them every 15 seconds for the last 3 hours.
