On 11/18 I received a text that said my AAA membership needed to be updated, and to call 800222-4357. I didn't. Than I received a letter dated 11/18 that said my membership had expired, and to call that number. (This had happened once before, but when I called the number was told that it was an error. ) I called the number, and the person confirmed that it was expired. I gave her my cc number, and then she told me this would extend my membership when it expired next June. I told her to cancel the transaction, and called AAA's main phone number. I was told they have problems, and the text and letter were in error, and that they had given me a free year in the past to compensate for their errors. Later I checked my AAA card, which said I'm a member until June 12, 2026 [BBB Scam Type: Retail Business Business name AAA IMPOSTER] [Business: AAA IMPOSTER] [Location: AZ, USA - 85704]
