I received an email last week stating a reoccurring payment did NOT go through on my PayPal account and so I logged into PayPal to see if it was on my transactions. I didn't see anything that resembled what was stated in the email. Today, I receive an email that states that the reoccurring payment has been activated. Again, I logged into my PayPal account and I did not see anything. I googled the email address ( [email protected] ) and saw a complaint has already been filed with the BBB. I called the number that is listed in the email (805-600-1541) and it stated that it was PayPal's customer service line, but their actual customer service line is 888-221-1161. At this point, nothing has been taken from me, but it is coming from what looks like a verified PayPal email; I even compared it to the others I get and they look the same but the information is wrong.
