The scammer came to my apartment door, appearing as a representative from my current electricity company, Eversource. He tricked me into giving my personal information to switch electric suppliers, under the lure of lower rates, and had me sign some documents. After he confirmed the information, someone from his company called to verify the information. The phone number is 833-401-0032. We are worried that our electric supplier would be switched and our personal information will be released without our knowledge and consent.
