A lady by the name Gia called me 833-440-2545. Asked me about health coverage. Since my policy went from $5 per month to$48 a month for ambetter I decided to listen. She then told me I was eligible for Medicaid, I thought good Medicaid is free. She said however I will need to pay a one time fee of $149.00 because I missed the sign up deadline by one day. I said ok I will pay so I can get Medicaid. Then got the policy in the mail it said my monthly pmts would be $140.00 so I called and canceled. A lady then called me back and told me I could not cancel. She said I was mislead. I had to pay $140 per month until my ******** cam threw and it would be a couple months. I said why do I need to pay? She said for temporary coverage until it came through. I told her I don’t need temporary coverage I have ambetter and work place coverage until march. Then she got rude. And asked me if I signed the contract I told her the woman told me what the contract was and never said a thing about any additional payments. The rude woman on the phone also told me the Gia would be repremended for her mistake. I told her you yourself told me I was mislead. She hung up!
