I received a voicemail from someone stating they were my local court system and they had a lawsuit to serve me with and what time they would show up at my residence or business and to call 833-670-4297 for details. When I calls the number a woman who identified herself as Amy had all of my private information such as SS# DOB, and home address. She stated a letter was mailed out on 1/1/26 advising of the lawsuit and proceedings. I advised I never received a letter and asked for more details. She said she would get a lawyer on the line. However, she put me on hold then came back to say I owe $3,146 and if I don’t pay they will file the lawsuit with my local county and I will incur $3,500 of lawyers fees. I pushed back for more information and the validity and Amy disconnected the call. I called back and she answered again and advised that she never spoke with me and disconnected the call again. I called back several more times and the phone would pick up and then hang right up. I called again from a number without caller ID and a James Sutton answered the phone. I asked him for a website to verify the validity of his company. He advised they did not have a website at which point I disconnected the call. I cannot locate any information for this company online and I have not received any paperwork for the debt. I reviewed my credit report and do not see the debt.
