Received a call at 3:40pm on 4/17/26. Caller said that he wanted to verify my address as they had legal documents that they needed to deliver. He proceeded to provide my correct address and name. I asked him what the documents were for and he said that they came from Williams & Associates, and they were just the courier so he didn't know what the documents were for. He told me that I needed to call 844-252-4387 and give them a case number (which I wrote down). He said they could tell me what the documents were for. Of course, I did not call the number. This happened to me once before when I did call the number they gave me and I was told that it was related to debt and I needed to pay money to stop the process. I asked them to send me a letter confirming that I owed the debt. The letter came from a fake firm with a similar name to a real one. It had an address that did not exist.
