I got a pop up message on my phone when I hit a link to virtual hospital pertaining to an appointment I made. The pop indicated that some attempted to buy something at the Apple Store using my Apple Pay and for me to call 844-424-1721. I called. A guy indicated someone at 49 Arcadia Court Albany NY 12205 tried charging my Apple Pay $149.99. Asked me what bank I primarily use since I said I use several. He “transfers” me to my bank fraud department. Both men asked me how to spell my first and last names which I found odd. My first name is a common spelling. They were getting my email address wrong too. I eventually hung up on them and said I was calling my bank, the origins guy also gave me 79711-032 as the claim number [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: The Apple Store - Crossgates Date Re] [Location: NJ, USA - 08330]
