I received the following text (cold): "Hi Name, this is Alexis from CNFI USA. I see that you recently requested a load for 140000. I was able to get you pre-approved. Do you have a few minutes to discuss the next steps? You can also reach us at (844) 669-3623. Text End to opt out". Followed by "Hi Name. CNFI USA here. Just checking in to see if you received my previous message. Is now a better time to give you a call?" After researching "CNFI USA," it seems it's some kind of fake bank; their website looks like an Apple product template. A search of the phone number they claimed to use returned a BBB listing for another person who received a similar text.
