i was trying to book tickets on Ethiopian airline site; The site was hanging, did not finish the process. So I googled the airline support number. I hit a scammer who posted as the airline support supervisor and told me my tickets were not booked. She got my credit card info and my passports info, said my credit cards did not go through and asked for more cards. She even sent me emails with Ethiopian airline tickets confirmation PDF file attached. She also sent me text message with validation code. I then realized the email address did not come from the airline domain. The text message of validation code was for unlink validation. i got suspicious and hang up. I cancelled my credit cards. but my personal information was leaked to this fake agent.
