Was contacted through text message by MLS Group attempting to collect a debt. I called the number provided in text (855-203-6515) and was repeatedly hung up on. I called the number on their website (855-203-1579) where a woman picked up. She had my name and birthdate and claimed they were collecting a debt for Speedycash of $600+ and that it was deemed "uncollectible." She said that I needed to pay it now, or they would be taking me to court. When I told her I had done research on the company and that there was a lot out there suggesting it was a scam, she immediately hung up. I blocked all numbers used, but they left an automated voicemail about an important matter regarding my account with them. Any debt I might have had with Speedycash is from years ago and not even on my credit report anymore.
