I received a time-sensitive piece of mail from an unknown company (absolutely no information on the piece of mail, except a phone # for a vehicle warranty for my 2021 toyota corolla. I gave them my credit card number, but my insitution would not verify it and declined them. The rep then wanted me to give them my checking account number. I refused. Since my credit card would not go through for them, I decided to cancel the transaction completely. At that point, the rep kept refusing my direct request to cancel the transaction as I did not want to deal with them. He kept refusing. I asked to speak with his manger, and his manger did the same thing he kept refusing my request that I did not want to deal with them and to cancel the transaction completely. the manager then threatened that I would have to pay over $1400 in vehicle inspection fees regardless of whether I stayed with them or not. At that point, I knew for sure they were scammers. I spoke with a Joseph 1-855-636-3514 #1715, who told me that it would show the transaction being made to WALZO. It was declined by my credit union.
