An ad on FB looking like it was from a non profit that we support posted about T-shirts available. The T shirts featured the non profits logo and information with a link for ordering and a link to the non profits FB page. The OP seemed to be someone from the organization and was tagging several people I recognized from there. I made the order but something seemed off so I took a closer look and within 15 minutes tried to cancel the order. Got a confirmation # for the order thru email, all requests to cancel were ignored. Next day got email saying my order has been sent to be printed, too late to cancel order etc. replied with CANCEL ORDER REFUND MY MONEY and got “radio silence” from then on. Called my bank to halt the charges, started a case file. Things I should have noticed sooner: —Links to non profit’s page were all public and were a specific post, not their FB page. —The “ person” posting was not real —The T shirt company was not local, this non profit fully supports LOCAL printers only —After looking there were several pages/ ads following the same model. —phone number (855-999-7840) and email ( Fallvintage.com) are all over the internet with scam alerts Grrrrrrrrrr!
