I purchased a prepaid visa from for $500.00 in 2025. I went to use the card several weeks ago (maybe Dec 2025 or first of 226) and made some purchases without issue. I had $200.00 left on the card. I went to Kohl's to return something and they credited the visa card for the items about $44.00. But when I went online to check the balance, I saw the balance was a few cents instead of being $243.00. Since I had only used about $300.00 the balance should be $243.00 or $244.00. So I used the securespend website to report fraud use. I received a dispute # via email, Gift Card Dispute - Ticket 83045778. [email protected] I called the ph# 8335638200 on the back of the card and was told it could take up to 3 months to resolve! That was very frustrating. And the person told me the card was "locked" due to the dispute so I couldn't login online to check anything. I had reported 2 transactions, $24.83 & $200.00. I only got an answer via email about the $24.83 on 2/11/26 stating that is was not recoverable. I have not heard about the $200.00. I think the bank incomm is crooked because of the stolen funds. Also, the ph# given in the email does not work (email reply below) See the attached for your final resolution regarding your dispute claim. We were unable to recover the amount of $24.83, therefore, that portion of the dispute will not be returned to you.
