Received letter in the mail. One side shows a color photo of a cruise ship. Text says, "You are a finalist in our VIKING RIVER CRUISE Giveaway Plus First-Class Airfare for 2!" Also includes lots of very fine print where the odds of winning are described, saying "Contest begins 2/9/2026 and ends 5/8/2026." The other side of the card shows a replica of a $100 Amazon gift card. And this: "You and your spouse are cordially invited to attend the Cruise Travel Expo 2025. Join us for a fun-filled showcase designed to get America cruising again." [NOTE: There is no mention of where or when the supposed "Travel Expo" is being held.] One combination box is on the card - you pull tab to reveal numbers, and then scratch off a number box to reveal a second set of numbers. Message says: "If the two numbers match, you are one of our GRAND PRIZE WINNERS and will receive one of the five prizes below! #1: Viking River Cruise for two with first-class airfare or $15,000 cash; #2: Seven-Night Caribbean Cruise and airfare for two; #3 Sony TV, 75" Bravia 3; #4: Seven-Night Alaskan cruise and airfare are for two., and #5 Airfare for Two plus a 3-day, 2-night getaway at major U.S. Cities" Message continues: "Call the gifting department immediately toll free at 1-866-678-8689. Yellow-brown envelope arrived by US Mail, marked Personal & Confidential. It claimed, "You are a finalist in our Viking River Cruise Giveaway!" It contained a plastic "V,I.N Gauge Box" with a pull tab to view a number that then lit up. There was also a scratch off. When scratched off, the numbers should match and if so, you have won one of the prizes. It said to call 1-866-678-8689. Instead of doing so, I Googled this and discovered it is a scam. I did not call the number, but you should! And have it shut down! [BBB Scam Type: Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes] [Business: Unknown] [Location: MS, USA- 39571]

My wife received a letter from 1220 L Street NW Suite 100-155. Marked personal and confidential. It contains a small domino sized combination box with a pull tab to activate it. The "prizes" were cruises and other vacations. Toll free # 1-866-678-8689. I knew it was a scam before I even opened and trashed it.
