I was contacted first by Emily at LTS legal processes saying they were trying to serve me. I asked what I was being served for and she provided me a case number and a phone number of 877-335-3068. When I called th number I spoke with someone named Jason who stated I was being sued in my county regarding a debt from 2016. I spoke with a lawyer who could not find any filings with my name. She suggested I call the county clerks office and they also told me they could find no record of anything being filed against me. I received a text message asking to contact some at 877-335-3068 regarding a debt that I owed. I don't owe a debt so I ignored it. About 15 minutes later my son received the same message that was sent to him about me. I called the number they stated it was an attempt to collect a debt from 2016 from Net loans. I stated I never hot a debt from Net loans. They said four numbers and asked if it was the last four numbers of my social security number I told them no. They said four more numbers asked if that was the last four of my social security number. I told them no but it actually was my social security number. They said a name asked if I knew who it was I yes yes it was my ex husband but I have been divorced from him since 2012 and have no contact with him. They said it was a loan with my ex husband and my name on it. I told them I never got any type of loan. They said they have been trying to contact me. Told them this is the first I heard about it. They state that I owe 1700 but withcourt costs it was 3700. If I pay it now it would be 1700. Told them I'm not paying anything I never hot any losn take me to court. They stated I would receive something in the mail. I hung up the phone. I am worried now because they did have my social security number.
