The header on the one page document reads "FINAL NOTICE: IMMEDIATE RESPONSE NEEDED" "This notice to inform you that we have been trying to contact you ...regarding the property's home warranty...secured by BUSINESSMENS FEDL S&L...." an organization which no longer exists with whom we had a mortgage thirty years ago. The letter says "Your Home warranty may have already expired, if it has, you will be financial (sic) liable for any and all repairs needed for your home." "Failure to call us by the Expiration Date of February 4th, 2026 may result in a lapse of coverage." "...our final attempt to contact you before we close the file on this property." "REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for Continued protection. Call Now 1-877-337-0709." NB: The email I filled in above is no longer in service. It is not that of the offending party who provided none. I received a Final Notice letter in the mail asking me to call. It looks very official. It came in my name, but I don't own the home. Warranty Dept 1-877-337-0709. The number appears in three different places. No company name on letter or envelope. [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Unknown] [Location: OH, USA- 43026]

I received a letter with no return address, no company name, no website, only a phone number 1-877-337-0709, Form Number 9550-WARR, Property Code **********. The letter states "Official Business" mimicking government wording and "Penalty for Private Use $300." It's in reference to an "urgent matter regarding my property" claiming that it is a "final notice" "immediate response required" about a home warranty. It also claims "secured by conventional home lender - please call to verify." I don't have a mortgage or a home warranty, so I know this is a scam. I'm reporting it because that type of language could intimate someone who may believe it's legitimate and fall for the ruse. [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Unknown] [Location: NJ, USA- 08873]
