The person sent a mail presented as an email formatting with a subject “Urgent: Unexpected Change for Property”. It said that “Laura Davis” from Home Warranty Programs reviewed a file for my home and noticed some account discrepancies. Also, there was a yellow sticky note that said “___, Please call now 1-877-708-7814. Ask for Laura” in cursive. Lastly, I noticed some punctuation error and sounds a bit demanding. I received a letter that looks like a printed email, although I've never seen an email print like it. In Large Bold Lettering at the top. Immediate Response Requested. Subject: Urgent: Unexpected Change of Property. It also had a hand written Post-It note attached to it. The email is from Home Warranty Programs to Laura Davis. It starts with: Laura, **load of nonsense about account discrepancies - No active Coverage. I qualified for a $400 credit that I didn't activate. Call immediately***. The email is signed off with Thanks, Laura Davis Home Protection Coordinator, Home Warranty Programs, 1-877-708-7814. Why would you email yourself and thank yourself for it.
