The company "Local Door Repair", phone number 877-730-2444, sent out a technician to give me an estimate for screen door repair. They have no address and must get a fee from the guy they give the job to. He was unclear as to the cost of repair or replacement of the screen doors. He said it would be about $1,000 to replace all 3 screen doors. I told him I did not want to spend that much and what was the cost of just replacing the door wheels. It was $80 a wheel for the one door that was repairable. It needed 2 wheels. The glass door also was given one wheel. He would not give me a total cost, only saying the wheels were $80. He replaced the three wheels and charged me $950!! We argued about the price. I told him 3 new doors were $1,000, why would I pay $950 for a few new wheels! Foolishly, I paid him by check, which he cashed immediately, telling him I would call his boss to complain. The company won't do anything to make it right. They are scammers. They say they will call me back but never do. I finally got through to a guy who said I got work done, so basically stop complaining. Total rip off, I don't think they are a real company.
