Husband was calling American Airlines to check on and chg a reservation. He recd a call back during his call. Person named Vincent helped us chg an already paid reservation for one on hold. We are to receive a reimbursement for one of the reservations, which was cancelled. After he made the chg, he said there would later be “taxes and fees” that would be charged above and beyond the airline ticket price. Informed me we’d be notified the amt. Later this evening I saw it was “Bookthefly,” a previously identified scam organization. My card is now restricted and we will be making a visit to our bank also.
