A text was received, stating it was from Robinhood, providing a six digit code to log into my account. I had not logged into my account in a very long time. And I initially thought someone was trying to hack it, in addition the text message included a phone number to call (878-881-9045) if you did not request the code. After looking into it more, I am pretty certain that the text is not from Robinhood. Because when I went to log into my Robinhood account. The verification text including a real code was completely different language from the suspicious one that was received, and they do not include a phone number for you to call them. In addition, the font did not look typical with certain letters in an odd font. I'm pretty certain if you were to call that number they would request various pieces of information pretending to secure your account and take it with ill intention.
