A voicemail was left stating that the message was for "David", last name not given. There is no David at this phone number, and never has been. Voicemail states that the person will need to bring two forms of identification to take care of their "legal matter." The message was a recorded voice. The voice said to call 888-247-9684. Also stated that the message was tracked to prove it was delivered. Verizon also identified this call as "Potential Spam" as it was coming in. I did not answer the phone when they called. I searched the toll-free number and the first thing that popped up was a scam report to BBB that included the same 888 number for the scammer. The spoofed phone number they used had an area code from the same area where my phone number is from. However, I no longer live in that area.
