Website looked 'real', called 888-279-7379, set up for date and time, person arrived, did 2 minute inspection, told me it would be $199 for 6 feet chimney cleaning and $29 for each additional foot and $250 for the flue cap, went on roof, I heard a brush go down and back up, then he comes in says stage 3 creosote and I should agreed to pay $250 more for that treatment, I agree so he goes up some sounds were made, he came back down vacuumed fireplace and says he was done. when I called him out on let me see what the treatment was he showed me a little squirt bottle and I was pressing him about it saying that couldn't possibly have done any kind of cleaning he then said I didn't have to pay him for it it would be on him and he seemed to be really put out by it. So I go up on the roof to look down the chimney and I guess it looks clean I'm not sure what it look like before because he took my propane insert tubing out and bent the heck out of my original flu cap that went with the propane insert. after he left I looked up inside my chimney from the inside of the house and I could see chunks of creosote it was terrible. So I called him back and he said he was busy but to text him some pictures and he would get right back to me. He called in about 15 minutes said that the pictures were nothing that he had done wrong but that he would come back anyway. So he comes back -seems a bit irritated and I showed him how all of this creosote was all over I mean it was kind of getting all over me and all over my house and he never did any kind of protection to my house this fireplace was open the whole time he was scrubbing it then he vacuumed it up and he left kind of pissed off. So I called the company back to complain about this and they said they would have their supervisor call me.
