I had a missed call and a message on my voicemail. A woman's voice had (my name) saying that it was regarding a complaint file number (xxx-xxx) that she disclosed to me. Then a man's voice proceeded to say: There is a complaint that is being filed in their office. Documents regarding my file are being prepared to be sent out and I would need to be available to sign for the delivery. And that the issuing agent will dispatch confirmation. He also stated that if they were unable to reach me at home, they will attempt to reach me at my verified place of employment and in order to stop further action from being taken I may contact their legal Dept. at 888-303-1383. (Note): The actual number they called from was (510) 721-1383 (from voicemail confirming number). He also said that this call had been logged and recorded as proof of efforts being made to notify me. Instead of panicing and calling the number back I Googled it and it was listed as a scam number with this site. The (510) 721-1383 number they actually called from I googled but did not find any information on it as being connected to a company. Again, they did not leave their names, the name of the company or firm they are with, no email or website to visit. They just wanted me to call them back at the provided number.
