An individual contacted me and directed me to call the number 888-307-6351, claiming to assist with a financial matter related to Cash App and tax reporting. They falsely presented themselves as a representative associated with a “Tax Payer Report” service and misled me with incorrect information about IRS reporting. During the interaction, they attempted to gain my personal and financial details under false pretenses. I believe this is a fraudulent operation targeting unsuspecting users.
