A elderly relative keeps receiving unsolicited letters from “2025 Ford Explorer”. Envelope has no return address. Except for a stamp that says “Mailed from zip code 92799” Terms in letter such as “FINAL NOTICE” “IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED” The letter says “ Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to have your vehicle service contract activated. We are informing you that if your factory warranty has expired, you will be responsible for paying any repairs. However, if expired you can still activate on your vehicle before it’s too late. Please call 888-646-0349 today” BEWARE THIS IS NOT FORD AND HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH FORD IT IS A SCAM! I have seen genuine Ford letters informing recall notices etc. They always have the Ford logo and the return address at Dearborn Michigan. And NEVER ever create a sense of urgency and always say to contact your local Ford dealer. [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Unknown] [Location: TX, USA- 75751]
