Received an official looking envelope that stated “IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED” The letter says and I quote: “ATTENTION (insert name here) This letter is to inform you about an important matter regarding the property at (insert address) secured by your current lender which is (insert mortgage broker). We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice. CALL IMMEDATELY as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU 1-888-749-8316.” They have both mine and my wife’s full names, the name of my lender, and our property code. Included with this letter is a cut out of a “Allocated Waiver” disguised to look like a check. I googled the phone number and this company is what came up.
