I have been contacted at the number (888) 824-0248 three times by a person who calls herself Emily. She has left a voicemail each time, with the first one saying she had a time-sensitive petition on her desk that needed my utmost attention. She asked me to call her back at the same number with an extension and a file number, as this will follow through on any and all proceedings. The second time she called, it was the same thing, with the same voice message. The third time, she said the same thing, only this time, that she left me a message the previous day and I had failed to respond, and that she was now requesting an immediate response, self-representing attorney at this time, and for me to call back the same number and extension with the same file number. She does not provide any information about who filed a petition against me or anything else. I have checked with my local court system and found no cases in my name. I will also contact the Hartford group at the number on their actual site to follow up on this. I have blocked and reported this number as a scam.
