The scammers called my parents. They said that they were AT&T. They asked my parents if they were trying to change their AT&T passcode. My dad said no. The scammers told them that somebody from out of country was trying to change it and that they needed to call a number. My dad called the number, for a fake company called Razor Tech Solutions, LLC. (There is a REAL Razor-Tech company, but this wasn't it.) The person scammer "helped" my dad by remotely installing "security systems" on my dad's computer. Then the scammer sent my dad an "invoice" that said that he should send $1,600 to what turned out to be a PO Box at a UPS store in Henderson NV. I'm sorry I can't attach it because he's in Milwaukee, and I'm in South Dakota, and I don't want him to turn on his computer to scan it. The address was Razor Tech Solutions LLC Box 271 631 N Stephanie Henderson NV 89014 Phone numbers: 1-888-988-8819 1-877-312-5066 I happened to call my parents last night, and they explained that somebody had helped them "avoid" fraud and they were sending $1,600 to them. I told them to shred the check, turn off their internet, and go to their local police station to report. So they didn't lose the $1,600, but they'll have to buy a computer, unless they can find somebody who can completely wipe out the viruses.
