Last Saturday, November 15th, our refrigerator broke. The door would not close. My wife called a refrigerator repair service using the website Appliance Pros - Midtown Manhattan, NY Refrigerator Repairs (included in the previous pages). A repair person called and I explained the problem and he said we would come following day to repair. On Sunday, November 16th, a person by the name of Anthony came to our place and looked at the refrigerator. He attempted to fix and said the problem was the hinges and he needed to order parts. He (supposedly) looked up the parts and said that he needed to order the parts and that he would need a deposit and he only accepted cash or check. When I asked who to make t for, he said to make it in the name of his boss: Randolph Kyle (That should have been a red flag). Unfortunately, being tired and desperate to get our fridge fixed, I gave him the check and he provided an invoice (see attachment) via test. We then stayed in contact via text (917 500 6935) to set up return for him to come back when he received the part. He mentioned that the part would come in by Thursday between 2-4 to fix and then, he never responded back. I asked for a return of my deposit and I got no response.
