A friend of mine got scammed into giving someone his debit card and pin number A friend of mine got conned into giving his debit card and pin number to someone they met from online. That person said she was a manager at another bank and could have money wired into his account from another offshore account and they could split it. I know that's really stupid. The woman who scammed him deposited some checks into the account and withdrew cash from the ATM. The checks bounced but some money was available to withdraw. They left the account with a negative $791 balance but there was like $8 before he gave it. The woman who scammed him came to his house to get the card. The car she came in was a white Mercedes-Benz GLK350. he didnt get the license plate number. But apparently it looked like a Virginia plate. The bank said he had to go file a police report and bring it to the manager there. I have their phone number. Its 929-238-3474. I called that number to see if anyone picked up and the woman did. Is there anyway we could find out her address or full name or something. Or could someone call and try and get her to say her full name or address or something.
