Trading experience with 3Commas: New Meta I consider myself to be a trader with a significant amount of knowledge at this point. I’m not saying I’m the best or some elite guy, but I’ve done well and I was looking for ways to play the market with more complexity using a combination of bots and custom signals. So my Grid bots are not just adding Buy or Sell orders on deviation %, but they use additional filters by deviation % + indicator signal. So, because of that, how much the % deviates can be dynamic, depending on the market. As you can see from the screenshot below showing performance over the past year or so, overall my strategy is working even though the profits have leveled out while still staying positive. I’ve been extremely busy at work and haven’t had much time to adjust my signals. 3Commas trading experience All right, so I wanted to find a relatively low-risk, low-maintenance kind of bot that I could set up, check to ensure it’s running properly, and then basically leave it alone. I wasn’t looking for 10x profits, I just wanted something better than simply HODLing. I can’t remember if it was Telegram or YouTube, but someone mentioned grid bots. I chose 3Commas as the platform because the general consensus was that their grid bots were a decent tool. It was pretty easy to set up, and I did some tests just to see how the bot functioned. It did what it was advertised to do, so I put some real (for me, at least) funds into it and let it run for two and a half months. The profit numbers don’t look amazing, but keep in mind I barely had to do any work for this after I set up the bot. I checked it every couple of days to make sure it was okay, but other than that I didn’t touch it. I didn’t have to sit behind a computer monitoring the price charts or make a bunch of manual trades.
