I got my teeth cleaned at a dentist office that was just shut down for unsafe practices. Does legal action make sense? https://6abc.com/post/philadelphia-health-department-warns-exposure-smiles-square-rittenhouse-what-patients-should-know/19138176/ Location: Philadelphia, PA, United States My dentist that I recently went to was shut down by the DOH for unsanitary practices (like not sterilizing tools properly). Officials are urging patients to get tested for HIV and Hepatitis. I haven’t gotten tested yet, but will soon. Hopefully everything comes back clear, but I probably have to pay for the testing (high deductible). I am also in the process of doing Invisalign with this dentist, and paid in advance for treatment that I won’t be able to continue. Without any physical damages (fingers crossed for the test results), would it still make sense to sue for medical malpractice?
