Received notice about data breach from Green Mountain Higher Education Consortium employees that offered free 24-month credit monitoring at privacysolutionsid.com. I did some brief searches online and it appeared legitimate. Website asked for social security number to make an account and I gave it, logging into an account. The website for the account once I logged in was different (6jle5.privacysolutions.com), which caused me to pause. I also noticed that the quality of the letter was low (photocopied).
